PUBLIC RELATIONS CAMPAIGN
- In-Rink Ideas – Members can access a multitude of new ideas for rink promotions, events and programs that can be implemented in their skating centers to help drive traffic. To access these ideas, log onto the members only section of the RSA website (www.rollerskating.org), then click on PR Tool Kit.
- RSB Magazine Articles – Look for monthly marketing columns using your ideas, your successes and marketing success stories from other rinks and other industries that you can use.
- Members Forum Online -This tool is a primary means of communications between RSA and its members. Be sure to log on once a week for new ideas and to share your own ideas at www.rollerskating.org/forum.cfm.
- Continuing Education -The RSA will be providing Section Meetings with brainstorming and marketing tools to spark new ideas and trouble shoot on problem areas in your marketing efforts.
- National Convention – A media relations/marketing seminar will be offered next year at the National Convention geared specifically towards skating center operators.

- Send us your ideas for promotions and public relations opportunities via e-mail at smelenchuk@rollerskating.com. We may be able to use it in our newsletter, magazine or on the website. We may even be able to generate some publicity around your event.
- The key to the success of the Roller Skating industry is collaboration. As these ideas spark even more ideas for you to use, share them with us and share them with your colleagues! Power in numbers will go a long way for the success of the industry and more importantly, your center.
